Tasting Room Manager
Under the direction of the owners, the Tasting Room Manager will help organize and set up our new full time tasting room located in a prime retail location in downtown Breckenridge. Once the Breckenridge tasting room is in full operation, the Manager will also be responsible to establish a part time small scale tasting room located inside our nearby wine production facility.
The Tasting Room Manager will recruit and train tasting room staff and will have overall responsibility for supervising and running the day-to-day operations of the tasting rooms which includes facilitating the sales programs, opening and closing of the Tasting Rooms, recruiting, supervising and mentoring the Tasting Room staff, and promoting the sale of wine and non-wine products. Also responsible for demonstrating, promoting and ensuring exceptional customer service to guests through training and development of Tasting Room staff. This is a hands on jobs and as a small winery, the Tasting Room Manager is expected to work in the tasting room alongside our Tasting Room Hosts. Past management experience in retail, hospitality or wine required. Past winery experience is strongly preferred but not essential if a candidate has other relevant experience. Key duties include:
Recruiting, training and supervising Tasting Room staff to ensure they are properly trained on all procedures, including operating POS and credit card machine, maintaining proper inventory control, signing up wine club members and collecting customer contact information at the point of sale.
Working in the tasting room assisting guests alongside Tasting Room Hosts and as the sole employee during non peak hours.
Developing monthly staff schedules to ensure the Tasting Room and events are properly staffed at all times.
Working closely with the owners to ensure the Tasting Room meets sales and wine club enrollment goals and that the tasting room operates to the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Carries out duties associated with opening and closing of the Tasting Room and makes sure full-time and part-time staff are properly trained on opening and closing procedures.
Responsible for accounting for daily sales and reporting daily results to owners.
Developing a marketing program for the winery including liaising with nearby hotels and businesses to advertise and market the winery.
Responsible for operation of the Wine Club including ensuring that shipping orders are accurately packed and processed in a timely manner.
Assisting in the coordination, staffing and scheduling of onsite and offsite tasting room events.
May be requested to attend special events and tastings outside the winery.
Works with the owners to ensure pricing, tasting sheets and all other channels for sales are updated and accurate.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a loss prevention program.
Maintains the cleanliness of the Tasting Room.
Supports the Winery’s policies, procedures and commitment to the established safety practices and policies.
Special projects and other responsibilities as required. Willing to change priorities on a day to day basis as business needs dictate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to relocate to area of Breckenridge, Colorado by November 1, 2016.
Minimum 2 yrs. customer service and retail sales experience required.
Minimum 2 yrs. team management experience required.
Experience working in a winery tasting room or other winery position strongly preferred but not required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
Strong self motivated and outgoing personality. Able to work independently and to make management decisions in accordance with winery policies and philosophy.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and experience with POS systems.
Must be at least 21 years of age and obtain Colorado alcohol server training certification.
Physically able to stand for prolonged periods and carry/lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Clean criminal records. No illegal drug use. No history of alcohol dependency.

Tasting Room Host
Continental Divide Winery is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and bubbly individuals to join our family run tasting room and winery. Both full-time and part-time positions available. Come share this rare opportunity to work at the newest winery in Colorado. Restaurant or winery experience is strongly preferred. Enthusiasm for wines a must!
JOB DUTIES:
Retail sales

Glass washing/polishing and tasting room cleaning and stocking
Daily duties around the winery and tasting room
Outreach skills
Able to work weekends and holidays
Lead wine education programs for guests
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to conduct tours and host small groups
Computer proficiency (Mac and PC)
Must be 21 years of age and complete a safe alcohol service program
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly.
Ability to stand on one’s feet for extended periods of time.
Retail sales, restaurant and winery experience a plus
Knowledge and a passion for wine a must
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
We possess a very relaxed atmosphere. You will need to take it upon yourself to keep busy without being instructed. Opening/closing the winery alone may be asked of you. You will work closely with the Tasting Room Manager on a daily basis.
COMPENSATION: $12 - $14 per hour depending on experience.

Cellar and Wine Production Assistant
We are a small boutique winery producing wines high in the Rocky Mountains. Looking for part-time staff to assist the winemaker on cellar, harvest and crush operations.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be available to work any available shift during harvest.
• Able to work with wine processing machinery and follow instructions
• Follow work orders and direction from Winemaker.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills,
• Be able to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment,
• Creatively solve problems, and
• Be physically able to walk, bend, reach and lift 50 pounds or more.
COMPENSATION: $12 - $14 per hour depending on experience.
